美國商務部長雷蒙多（Gina Raimondo）今天表示，中國如果侵犯台灣，並且掌控台積電，將對美國經濟造成「絕對毀滅性」衝擊。

路透社報導，雷蒙多在美國眾議院聽證會上被問及，若中國武力犯台並掌控台積電造成的衝擊為何？她回應說：「這絕對是毀滅性的。」

雷蒙多拒絕評論上述情況將如何或會否發生，但她指出：「目前，美國有92%尖端晶片是從台灣的台積電購買。」

上個月，雷蒙多接受哥倫比亞廣播公司（CBS）新聞節目「60分鐘」（60 Minutes）訪問時曾表示：「我們擁有世上最先進的半導體。」

在主持人追問「我們」是否包括台灣時，雷蒙多回答：「可以這麼說。」
