This means that workers in Chile who have hepatitis A may have manually harvested the fruits by bare hands, without washing them, and the factory processing may not have involved any measures such as the addition of additives, and no inspections, which led to the infection of the frozen blueberries and other food products that were sent to Taiwan.
This scenario is difficult to imagine, and it raises concerns about the possibility of a deliberate act of bio-warfare.

It is worth noting that Chile has a close relationship with China and was the first South American country to recognize the People's Republic of China. China supports Chile's sovereignty over Antarctica, and Chile has approved the construction of China's Great Wall Station on the claimed Antarctic territory of Chile.

意思是：有A肝疾病的智利工人的徒手採收，而在工廠處理過程中，都無水洗，甚至添加物等過程，以致於導致送到台灣的冷凍藍莓等食品受到感染？

順便說一下，智利與中國關係深厚，它是首個承認中華人民共和國的南美洲國家。中國支持智利對南極的主權，而智利則以批准中國在智利聲稱擁有主權的南極土地上建立長城站。

衛福部食品藥物管理署昨（28）天傍晚宣佈，好市多股份有限公司輸入之「Kirkland Signature科克蘭冷凍三種綜合莓(藍莓、黑莓、覆盆子)」經衛生單位抽驗檢出A型肝炎病毒陽性，目前也已將違規產品全數下架。而專家提到，近年歐美也發生多起A型肝炎感染事件，且起因多是冷凍莓果，而特別容易出現在這類食物的原因與病毒本身特性有關。

好市多近期主動向食藥署報驗「KirklandSignature科克蘭冷凍三種綜合莓(產地：智利，規格：1.81kg/包)」檢出A肝病毒陽性。好市多表示，已立即配合通知會員召回該商品，呼籲消費者立即停止使用，並攜帶商品和會員卡至鄰近好市多賣場辦理退貨作業。

據瞭解，該批違規產品已賣出1.7萬公斤近年來，而食安專家韋恩指出，歐美紐澳近年也發生多起A型肝炎感染事件，且起因多是冷凍莓果，少數是生菜與芽菜。但A型肝炎病毒容易出現在這類食物的原因，韋恩也說明，因為病毒經過85°C、60秒加熱就會不活化。

也因此，這類生食的食物若在生產管理部分有衛生疑慮，韋恩舉例，如：水源等遭到汙染、或採摘的人手上不乾淨，就容易造成感染。即使是「有機莓果」也曾造成A型肝炎感染，換言之不是有機就一切安全。而A型肝炎致死率雖不高，但會造成長達數個月的病症，像是嘔吐、腹瀉、噁心、發燒和黃疸等，不能掉以輕心。

至於要如何避免感染，韋恩也坦言「消費者能做的很有限，只能從上游管理。」

目前驗出病毒的莓果產品，食藥署表示，總計進口17,431.78公斤，目前尚庫存367.43公斤(203包)，好市多已將違規產品全數下架，食藥署已請衛生局監督業者完成後續回收銷毀作業，並依法處辦，維護消費者相關權益。

另外，A型肝炎的潛伏期約15～50天，平均為28～30天，食藥署也提醒，如果吃到同批號產品，民眾要自我監測60天，如果出現發燒、全身倦怠不適、食慾不振、嘔吐及腹部不適、黃疸等疑似急性A肝症狀，要趕快就醫且告知飲食史，以利醫師評估感染情況和採檢。因A型肝炎屬法定傳染病，疾病管制署亦已啟動相關措施。
