Chinese Defense Minister General Li Shangfu blsted the US during the Shangri-La Dialogue, stating that US vessels and aircrafts continuously sail and fly "AROUND" China's territorial sea and airspace. However, shortly after his criticism, a Chinese Navy Survey Ship entered the territorial waters of Japan to conduct a survey operation, which apparently to be a violation of UNCLOS, the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.
This marks the 11th instance of Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) vessels entering Japanese territorial waters. China's behavior showcases arrogance, irresponsibility, and assertiveness.
It is important to not merely listen to what China says, but to observe their actions, which persist in the same manner.

きょう午前、鹿児島県・屋久島の南西で中国海軍の測量艦1隻が日本の領海に一時侵入しました。

防衛省によりますと、中国海軍の「シュパン級測量艦」1隻がきょう午前7時半頃、鹿児島県・屋久島の南東の日本の接続水域を西に進み、その後、午前10時頃、屋久島の南西の領海に入ったのを確認したということです。

その後、測量艦は午後1時頃に鹿児島県・口永良部島の西の領海を出て、西に向けて航行したということです。

海上自衛隊が護衛艦「とね」や哨戒機「P－1」などで情報収集や警戒監視を行いました。

中国海軍の艦艇による日本の領海侵入は今年2月以来11回目で、政府は中国側に対し外交ルートを通じて強い懸念を伝えたうえで、抗議をしました。
