海上自衛隊跨國演習忙

The JMSDF and the US Navy held combined tactical training in South China Sea offshore Philippines on August 31.

There were a combined tactical training of the US, Canada, Australia, NZ and Japan from Guam to Australia during August 24 to 31; Japan-US combined tactical training of amphibious assault ship USS Wasp on August 26 to 27 around Okinawa waters; Japan-UK combined tactical training of amphibious assault ship HMS Albionon August 25 southern water to Honshu.

On August 29, BRP Gregorio del Pilar (FF-15) of the Philippines Coast Guard ran aground at Hasa Hasa Shoal in the West Philippine Sea off Palawan.  The accident triggered the nerves of China because the Philippine government deliberately had BRP Sierra Madre (LT-57) run aground on Second Thomas Shoal in the Spratly Islands to serve as an outpost of the Philippine Marine Corps to assert Philippine sovereignty in the country's dispute with China over the ownership of the Spratly Islands in 1999.

The situation is tense.

平成３０年度インド太平洋方面派遣訓練を実施中の海上自衛隊は、次により米海軍と 共同訓練を実施しました。

（２）米海軍 原子力空母「ロナルド・レーガン」ほか、ミサイル巡洋艦「アンティータム」、ミサイル駆逐艦「ミリアス」

５ 訓練項目 各種戦術訓練

日豪加新共同巡航訓練の実施について    海上幕僚監部 20180831

日豪加新共同巡航訓練の実施について 海上自衛隊は、次により日豪加新共同巡航訓練を実施しました。 １ 目 的 海上自衛隊の戦術技量の向上及び豪州・カナダ・ニュージーランド各海軍との 連携強化、相互理解の深化

２ 期 間 平成３０年８月２４日（金）～８月３１日（金）

３ 場 所 グアム（アメリカ合衆国）からダーウィン（オーストラリア連邦）に至る海空域

４ 参加部隊 （１）海上自衛隊 護衛艦「さざなみ」 （２）豪州海軍 フリゲート「メルボルン」 （３）カナダ海軍 フリゲート「カルガリー」、補給艦「アステリクス」（４）ニュージーランド海軍 フリゲート「テ・マナ」

５ 主要訓練項目 対潜戦、対空戦、戦術運動

３ 訓練海域 沖縄周辺海域

４ 参加部隊

（１）海上自衛隊：輸送艦「おおすみ」

（２）米海軍：強襲揚陸艦「ワスプ」他、艦艇数隻

５ 主要訓練項目 各種戦術訓練

６ その他 強襲揚陸艦「ワスプ」との共同訓練の実施は今回が２回目です。

日英共同訓練の実施について    海上幕僚監部 20180827

１ 目 的 海上自衛隊の戦術技量の向上及び英海軍との連携強化

２ 期 日 平成３０年８月２５日（土）

３ 訓練海域 本州南方海域

４ 参加部隊

（１）海上自衛隊：輸送艦「しもきた」

（２）英海軍：揚陸艦「アルビオン」

５ 主要訓練項目 各種戦術訓練

６ その他 揚陸艦「アルビオン」との共同訓練の実施は今回が初めてです。
