Hung Hsiu-chu, a faithful KMT member and now the Vice President of Legislative Yuan, was a daughter of white terror victim Hung Tzu-Yu.

Is she a typical psychological case of Stockholm syndrome; or she “simply” had an insight that she as well as her father was wrong?

No matter what the answer might be, she “was inspired” today.

She asked Tsai Ing-wen in an interview and claimed, “Will Tsai renounce ALL Taiwan’s islands and reefs within the Nine-dash Line in South China Sea?”

Few observers are able to identify the recent subtle change of Beijing: from claiming all the waters and islands in South China Sea to claiming all the islands and reefs.  China is building islands for military bases to support her newest stance. 

More than quickly, she identified and resonated Beijing’s stance.

Now she is the only one person who is running for the KMY candidate for 2016 Presidential Campaign.
