President Ma Ying-jeou attended the flag-raising
ceremony on New Year's Day in front of the Presidential Hall.
This was not the first time that MYJ did so. He wore the same jacket on the same occasion for
2014. The most notable part of the jacket
was the aviation badge and shoulder patch on the left arm -- signifying the alliance
of ROC and the US, and Ma's political inclination as well. It might suggest something political.
