Maybe I am wrong, last time we saw
the national flag of the US stood in Taiwan’s Presidential Hall is the

So the question are:
1. In the picture, there are always two ROC flags in the Presidential
Hall, even the host receive the visiting foreign guests. The Taipei Guest House (TAG) is an outbuilding
to the Presidential Hall to held state Banquet for the foreign guests. Why the US show the flag today (2023/04/08)?
2. Why the national
flag of the US and the ROC are at the right-hand and the left-hand respectively,
suggesting the principal and the secondary?
The
US flag here and now, then, is a response to Beijing’s military drill around Taiwan.

回覆刪除在國內對於基本「國際禮儀」的參考資料的官方版本，多是來自外交部發行的「國際禮儀手冊」，其中對於國旗懸掛或放置的位置原則，就面對觀眾的方位來說（觀眾在台下來看的話，是在觀眾的左方），指出地主國國旗懸掛一律居右方尊位。
（內文提到，有些國家是「讓人不讓旗」，地主國國旗要放「右」，主人卻可以站左；某些國家「讓人又讓旗」，地主國國旗都放「左」，主人也在左）

多謝，掛旗禮儀的確更清楚了。
刪除根據文章顯示，掛旗的確是有幾種系統。
從國旗、主角站的位置，可以判斷出照片場合的主要意義：誰接待、誰來訪。
但我感覺，美系比較合理，那是因為，主人。
主人與客人站立握手：
若主人在畫面右方，佔比大（尊），
反之，客人站在畫面左方，握手時右手會橫過肚前，顯得較為侷促（卑）。
各自站在本國旗前方，當然才能傳達出畫面的尊卑。
所以，感覺上美系掛法佔絕大多數。
