在中國9/16之後，台灣9/22表示意願加入CPTPP。回想WTO，中國在2001.12.11加入，台澎金馬（中華台北）在2002.01.01加入。
台灣總要在中國之後，這是怎樣的安排或默契？連民進黨當局也不例外？

Bloomberg reported that Taiwan expressed its application of joining CPTPP to New Zealand on September 22, six days after China’s application on September 16.
 Remember that China joined WTO on December 11, 2001, then Taiwan joined on the first day of 2002 under the name of the “Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu,” or the  “Chinese Taipei” in short.
Why does Taiwan, with unknown reason or practice, have to be in the sequence after China?  Even the DPP administration is not exceptional.

就在中國申請加入《跨太平洋夥伴全面進步協定》(CPTPP) 不久後，彭博週三 (22 日) 報導，台灣已將加入 CPTPP 的申請文件寄送至紐西蘭，最快週四 (23 日) 發布公開聲明。

中國上週四 (16 日) 晚間宣布，已就加入 CPTPP 提交正式書面信函，這項舉動不禁使外界擔憂，台灣加入 CPTPP 的困難度恐就此提升。

在中國提交申請後，台灣經濟部長王美花表示，將持續和 CPTPP 會員國進行非正式磋商，並待時機適當時提出申請。

此前，我國已分別和紐西蘭和新加坡達成雙邊自由貿易協定，且多年來仍致力於加入該區域經貿協定，然而，考量到兩岸主權議題，中國始終強烈反對台灣與他國簽署任何官方協議。

針對上述報導，紐西蘭外交部並未回應評論請求，我國行政院發言人羅秉成則無法回應。
