China forced all the officials of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) Hong Kong to sign an affidavit and vow to obey the “One China Principle,” a Beijing’s unilateral assertion.
Taiwan declines to sign the paper for it surrenders Beijing an excuse to mislead the world that Taiwan agrees to become a province of China.
Hong Kong S.A.R. is closing TECOHK due to no personnel.
There will lead to another field of struggle. Taiwan, as a practice, will authorize the related affairs to a friendly country.
China, on the contrary, will not allow it happens.
