有片面的超限戰嗎？

Unlimited Warfare

AS, a friend of mine, is troubling with the English translation of "超限戰." The translation of "超限戰" is “unlimited warfare.”  AS does not fully agree with that, saying that it should be “warfare beyond restrictions.”  I responded that in the sense of the word by word, it is “warfare beyond restriction;” however, considering the meaning of “beyond,” which refers to topple any rules, the term “unlimited” is quite acceptable.

AS continued:

The unlimited warfare is extremely dangerous to China, the party that promotes the idea, either.  Since "unlimited warfare" is beyond all rules, including the spreading of the virus way before the actual combat to less the capability of the rivals, the rivals have all the reasons to counter that with the same measures for survival. Humanity will lose.  Seeing what the Nazi has done to the Jewish people and others, the revenging bombing from the Allies is imaginable or acceptable.

The CCP has tied all the Chinese citizens as herd hostages to defend its political interests while propagandizing "unlimited warfare."  It is quite logical for those strategy makers, who read the unlimited warfare published by PLA and CCP, to revenge CCP as well as Chinese citizens without mercy.  CCP has trained Chinese citizens to be "rebels without a cause."

I added that the prevalence of "unlimited warfare" is based on the presumption: other people are conditioning to follow the rules and are obeying the moral principles.  If the one who obeys the rules will be falling into a position disadvantageous, no one will follow the rules.  If all the participants do the same rogue way, humanity will be dominated by the jungle rules and the civilization that we are treasuring will be gone.

That is to say "Unlimited warfare” is the warfare to challenge the humanity and civilization."

無限戰爭

AS，我的一個朋友，正困擾著“超限戰”的英文翻譯。“超限戰”的翻譯是“無限戰爭”。AS並不完全同意這一點，他說這應該是“超越限制的戰爭”。我回答說，從字面上講，這是“戰爭無極限”；但是，考慮到“超越”的含義，即超越任何規則，術語“無限”是完全可以接受的。

我補充說：
“無限戰爭”的流行是基於這樣的推定：其他人正在調理遵守規則，並遵守道德原則。如果遵守規則的人處於不利地位，則沒有人會遵守規則。如果所有參與者都以同樣的無賴方式行事，那麼人類將被叢林法則所統治，而我們所珍視的文明將會消失。
