WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Office of the Director of National Intelligence today issued the following Intelligence Community (IC) statement:

華盛頓特區-國家情報局局長辦公室今天發表了以下情報界（IC）聲明：

“The entire Intelligence Community has been consistently providing critical support to U.S. policymakers and those responding to the COVID-19 virus, which originated in China.  The Intelligence Community also concurs with the wide scientific consensus that the COVID-19 virus was not manmade or genetically modified.

整個情報界一直提供美國決策者和相關人員有關源自中國的COVID-19病毒之關鍵支持。情報界在廣泛的科學共識下，同意：COVID-19病毒不是人為的或基因改造而成。

 “As we do in all crises, the Community’s experts respond by surging resources and producing critical intelligence on issues vital to U.S. national security.  The IC will continue to rigorously examine emerging information and intelligence to determine whether the outbreak began through conta

t with infected animals or if it was the result of an accident at a laboratory in Wuhan.”
