Mark Zimmer, AIT spokesperson, remarked yesterday that the US will host KMT’s presidential candidate as she did DPP’s Tsai Ing-wen this June.

However, questions like who will visit and whether he/she will visit are up to KMT and the candidate, not the US, Zimmer stressed..

It seemed to me that AIT has initiated risk management procedure, which could cover numerous aspects and possibilities.  A new KMT candidate is surely one of the possibilities. 

Global issues, especially those that concern security, might go beyond the imagination of Miss Hung, whose conducts abide by the wild Culture-Revolution style.  t is a shame that she lacks the global sense essential to modern politicians.    revised on 20150624

國民黨準總統參選人洪秀柱日前表示訪美機率低，現在傳出國民黨主席朱立倫可能代替洪秀柱訪美？美國在台協會（AIT）發言人金明今天受訪表示，AIT立場沒有改變（AIT歡迎有意願的總統參選人訪美），假如國民黨總統參選人決定訪美，美方接待規格就會跟之前接待民進黨總統參選人蔡英文一樣；要不要訪問？誰來訪問？由參選人自行決定，美方不會替他們決定。

對於是否代替洪秀柱前往美國訪問？朱立倫上午接受媒體訪問時表示，謝謝媒體想得那麼快，但這個還是要洪秀柱競選總部，來做深入的討論，目前還沒有討論，討論後有結論，再向外界報告。（陳培煌／台北報導）
