The first lady, Chou Mei-Qing, flew to Europe last night.

The fact that only one major media, other than the United Daily News, reported it signifies that the trip is beyond the public reach.

According to the news, she flew to Frankfurt, the traffic and the financial center of Europe, first.  Though she was reported to stop by other cities, no further information was leaked.

As the first lady, is Chou doing secret diplomatic mission, such as the talk with Beijing?  But that is definitely improper, even against the law.  Another scenario might be that she is doing private deals that no public eye should witness.

Europe: the final frontier.  This is one of the voyages for Chou in her last days as the first lady.

Despite the cancellation of the well planned visit to Japan last month and the failure to accompany her husband at the inauguration of Panama’s new President this month, which is supposed to be the job of the first lady, Chou continues her private mission: to explore new worlds, to seek out new life and to boldly do what no first lady has done before.    revised on 20140716

2013年11月19日，周專程到 Steinau an der Straße 送童話書（此次，巴拿馬總統就任，周聽說也送童話書給新任的西班牙公主，但公主未去），還獲贈為「文化大使」。

Steinau an der Straße與法蘭克福相距不到100公里，算是鄰居。

還有其他～？？

盧加諾？列支敦斯頓？摩那哥？愛丁堡？都柏林？雷克雅未克？
第一夫人很忙，卻沒有人知道總統再一年多要下台了，她在忙什麼？

總統夫人周美青女士昨天深夜搭乘中華航空公司班機秘密前往歐洲訪問，這是日前周美青中斷原訂前往日本出席故宮國寶翠玉白菜赴日開展茶會的行程後，再度出訪。據了解，周美青首站可能先前往德國法蘭克福，但後續應該還會轉機前往其他地方，至於目的地相關單位均三緘其口不願透露。
