Honey, I’ve Refined the Hoax 親愛的,我把騙局變優雅了 by Taimocracy (2014.04.28) revised at 201404291100

It was a gruesome revengeful act on Taipei streets!   Some thirty unarmed anti-nuke activists were surrounded by cops about five times of them!  And the police ruthlessly fired water cannons at them!

Did someone order this eviction operation that would please the President and the Premier?  Or, will this hostility among the worn-out police grow and find a vent through even more murderous acts, say, on the coming Labor Day demonstration?

In fact, more than 40 shots were fired last night, some directly aimed at the demonstrators’ heads or necks.  And that was just part of the malicious show schemed by the authoritarian mechanism.

Last night, soon after a KMT convention that made a decision to halt the construction of Nuclear Power Plant Four, Taiwan Power Company immediately bemoaned on the media saying that it would go into bankruptcy.  Then, the premier paid a visit to Mr. Lin, who is on infinite hunger strike until the construction of the nuclear plant is completely stopped.  The Premier made no promise, however.  This morning, amid the rampant reports of commuters jubilant to retrieve their rights to the roads, the Premier confirmed that the construction was not abandoned, but paused.  That is to say, the unfinished super-expensive, super-hazardous nuclear Frankenstein still has a chance to be completed and operate.  All the pleas, demonstrations, and hunger strikes prove fruitless.  Even the Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Australian News Network and Al Jazeera were all misguided and gave wrong reports.

Most hideous of all, during the past two weeks when the whole country was immersed in the nuclear power issue, KMT legislator Huang Chao-shun hastened the required hearings for the Free Economic Pilot Zones Regulations, which would allow China to buy businesses freely in Taiwan.  The legal procedure was scheduled to finish by midnight today.

Remember the thirty seconds that another KMT legislator tried to use for the passage of the service-trade pact?  That initiated the Sunflower Movement.  This time, the same old trick might spur something more revolutionary, or something that is much more nasty.    Revised at 1100
