邀柯訪美傳聞，葛萊儀否認是她

Bonnie Glaser denied the news from a staff of Ko indicating that she invited Taipei City Mayor Ko to visit CSIS located in Washington DC.

She said that as far as she knew that there was a suggestion to invite Ko to visit the US.  But it was not by her or CSIS. 

Intentional or not, Ko’s staffs mixed up the information, trying to mold the image that CSIS support Ko, and it is not the truth.

To anyone who watches Ko closely does agree that it is his typical behavior: making vague languages to earn political interests.  We could blame it to the ambiguity thinking of Taiwanese, which is not emphasized in the education.  We have seen one recently that Stephen Yates denied the rumor that he involves the establishing of a political group Formosa Republican Association.

But, it is fraud, essentially. 

To Ko, it is definitely not a good thing if he tries to run the 2020 Presidential campaign.  It is not a good thing either for him managing the heavy duties as a mayor.

Ko replied media’s interview：「這是媒體造成的誤會」、「他們3月去美國華盛頓或紐約，有時候還是會去拜訪智庫，所以是他們要去拜訪人家，怎麼會是人家來邀請他們」

The reply is even worse: Ko indicated that it was all because the misinterpretation of media, and said that he will visit think tanks next March, but not invited to do so.  He is already a political dead meat.

針對外傳美國智庫戰略暨國際研究中心（CSIS）專家葛來儀邀請台北市長柯文哲訪美一事，葛來儀今天澄清說，柯的幕僚「扭曲事實」，想塑造她和CSIS支持柯文哲選總統的印象，她「強烈反對」這個做法。

以下是葛來儀回覆媒體詢問的全文：

過去幾天有幾篇文章，談到我跟台北市長柯文哲在12月的會面。第一篇是由上報發表。這些文章有若干不精確的資訊，在我看來，這些資訊意圖把我說成是在支持柯文哲競選總統。我想要把話說清楚。

我跟柯市長在12月7日會面，同行的還有一小批美國的台灣問題專家。我們此行是到台灣進行研究，期間有多場會談，訪問對象包括前總統馬英九、外交部長吳釗燮、國家安全會議秘書長李大維、大陸委員會主任委員陳明通、立法委員王金平、副總統陳建仁等等。換句話說，我們拜會了台灣政壇各界的人士。

訪問華府智庫的建議是由柯市長辦公室的一名幕僚人員提出，他在我們訪台之前好幾個星期，就接觸一家重要智庫（不是CSIS）的一位知名美國專家。那個人（我不想提他的姓名）提議在柯市長計畫中的3月訪美行程中，為美國學者與柯市長安排閉門會議。後來那位專家跟我討論提議的這個活動，我同意共同主持。那個活動不會在CSIS舉行。

我在12月與柯市長會面時，並未提出這項邀請。我並未試圖說服他訪問華府。

很明顯地，柯市長的幕僚當中有人決定扭曲事實，讓事情看起來不僅僅是我，連我工作的單位CSIS也支持他選總統。提供這個資訊的人只提到我和CSIS，卻不提真正主辦活動的那個專家和智庫，這真的是很奇怪的事。我強烈反對以這種方式遭到利用，我是個學者，也是台灣與美台關係長期的支持者。我在未來的選舉中不會選邊站。1071231
